The meeting takes place at the Southeast St. Johns County Public
Library at 6670 US 1 South. New and established EMMA Guild members, and
interested would-be members are encouraged to attend the meeting to
learn about the Guild, and receive a copy of the new EMMA Guild
directory and Guild business cards. Members will have the opportunity
to socialize after the meeting, with refreshments; and to sign up for
activities such as hospitality, ushering, box office, mailings, fund
raising events, and various meaningful duties to support the EMMA
Concert Association's all-volunteer operations. In an effort to thank
members in advance for their commitment to Guild operations, Guild
members' names will be included in a drawing for an EMMA gift.
Future
meetings are scheduled at the Southeast Library on Wednesdays at 1:00
p.m. on: November 18, 2009 and January 20, 2010. The fourth and final
Guild meeting of the season, the Annual Dinner, will be held at Marsh
Creek Country on April 12, 2010, at 5:00 p.m.

State Representative Bill Proctor, (R) St. Augustine will hold the third in a series of town hall meetings on Wednesday, November 18, 2009 to discuss the 2009 & 2010 Sessions. This meeting will be held at the St. Augustine Beach City Hall Meeting Room, 2200 SR A1A South, St. Augustine Beach, from 5:30-6:30pm.
Rep. Proctor will discuss property insurance and the state budget with attention to education and human services allocations. He will also review economic recovery projections and address other state issues of interest to those in attendance.

School aged children (K-12th grade) can get vaccinations for the season flu and the H1N1 (Swine Flu) virus at the St. Johns County Health Department between the hours of 9:00 am and 4:00 pm. This will go on throughout the month of November (except for Nov. 26th & 27th) as supplies last.

Individuals who fall into one of the CDC's Recommended Priority Groups can receive flu vaccinations between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm at the St. Johns County Department of Health on the nights of November 18, 20, 23, and 25.
The priority groups include pregnant women, caregivers of infants less than six months of age (includes parents, siblings and daycare providers), health care providers and first responders, individuals ages six months to 24 years of age, and persons ages 25 to 64 years of age with medical conditions that put them at a higher risk for influenza-related complications (diabetes, asthma, etc.)
