"A Time for Everything" Play Presented at Winter Wonderland Saturday December 05 2009
6:30 PM - 8:30 PM
Event Type: Theater
Cost: $5.00
For the second year Veddy Theatre Group is producing an original play for the St. Augustine Amphitheatre’s Winter Wonderland event. This year's production is "A Time for Everything," a heartwarming play is tailor made for the holiday season. The show opens on November 20, and runs through January 2, with a running time of 30 minutes every Friday and Saturday night at 6:30, 7:30 and 8:30 p.m. On Friday, December 11, during all three shows that evening a signer will be provided for the hearing impaired.
The fairytale takes place during the lovely Princess Vera's favorite holiday. While the castle rejoices in the joy of the season, the Princess is preoccupied in searching for answers to her questions. Not even her father, the King of the land, has the answers she seeks. Her search leads her into trouble and causes chaos in the land. Come see what transpires when she and the King seek the advice of a wise hermit in the forest.
Although many of the Winter Wonderland events will be outdoors Veddy Theatre Group transforms the Amphitheatre’s conference room into an intimate studio theatre complete with a full theatrical set. The theatre is near the ice-skating rink to the right and back of the main stage.
Tickets are $5.00 available at the Veddy Theatre Group ticket booths in the Amphitheatre entrance plaza or by the theatre an hour before the show. The ticket booth accepts cash only. Tickets can also be pre-purchased by way of www.veddytheatre.org and downloading a ticket form. The company is happy to arrange “Buy out the House” Sunday matinées for groups. For more information call 904-806-2423 or email info@veddytheatre.org.
