A Moment in Time: America 250 … Plein Air Paintings from America’s First Coast is on display at the Lightner Museum.  This juried exhibition is on dispaly March 20 through July 14, 2026.

As the nation marks its’ semiquincentennial, the Lightner Museum and the First Coast Plein Air Painters celebrate the enduring beauty of Northeast Florida and its’ role in America’s story.  Experience how contemporary artists capture the enduring beauty of a region that has inspired generations of painters.

Daily 9:00am – 5:00pm | Last admission at 4:00pm
