First Coast Opera – Baseball Music … Take Me Out to the Ball Game

Join First Coast Opera for this free, family concert featuring vintage baseball songs … and a highlight from the opera The Mighty Casey!

They’ve scoured the sheet music collection of the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY to bring you a 9-inning setlist of early 20th-century classics.  Plus, a special extra inning from the opera The Mighty Casey and a dramatic reading of the legendary poem Casey at the Bat.

When:  Friday, May 8, 2026 | 12:00pm-1:00pm

Where:  The Waterworks

This performance features General & Artistic Director Curtis Tucker, soprano Haley Kirk, tenor and Director of Development Edward Brennan, and pianist Michael Giuliani.

The performance is just one of many during the Romanza Festivale of Music & the Arts.
