When you’re downtown, be sure to check out the Irish Heritage Exhibition. It explores the lives of Irish Diaspora in the City of St. Augustine and highlights the oldest documented St. Patrick’s Day parade in the Americas, which began in 1600 in St. Augustine led by an Irish Parish Priest.
The exhibit also serves as a meaningful opportunity to recognize the centuries-old connections between Ireland and Florida and the enduring cultural impact of the Irish community in St. Augustine.
