Opening of the Reconstructed Fort Mose

Come join in the celebration of the Opening of the newly Reconstructed 1738 Fort Mose! It’s the realization of a 30 year dream by the Fort Mose Historical Society.

When: Friday, May 9, 2025 — 1:00pm-4:00pm and Saturday, May 10, 2025 — 9:00am-4:00pm

There will be reenactments by the Fort Mose Militia, live demonstrations by the Women of Mose, thought-provoking talks by local historians and archaeologists, and more.
