Stage to Screen Concert Film Series

Friends of Ponte Vedra Concert Hall proudly present the inaugural Stage to Screen Concert Film Series. This free community program will bring iconic concert films to the big screen.

When: August: 7 & 8, 14 & 15, 21& 22, and 28 — Doors Open 6:00pm | Film 7:30pm

Come experience legendary performances in a venue built for live music. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall stands alongside three internationally acclaimed venues celebrated for excellence in audio, acoustics, lighting, and venue technology.

Film Line-up

August 7 & 8 — Stop Making Sense (Talking Heads)
Widely regarded as one of the greatest concert films ever made, Jonathan Demme’s groundbreaking film captures the Talking Heads at the height of their creative powers.

August 14 & 15 — The Last Waltz (The Band)
Martin Scorsese’s legendary film chronicles The Band’s historic farewell concert.  Featuring unforgettable performances alongside Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, Neil Young, Joni Mitchell, Van Morrison, Muddy Waters, and more.

August 21 & 22 — Shine a Light (The Rolling Stones)
Directed by Martin Scorsese, this acclaimed concert film captures The Rolling Stones live during their A Bigger Bang tour, with appearances by Buddy Guy, Jack White, and Christina Aguilera.

August 28 — Hans Zimmer & Friends: Diamond in the Desert
An immersive concert film celebrating the legendary composer, featuring music from Dune, Gladiator, Interstellar, The Lion King, and more.
