Summer Drama + Comedy Camps for Kids

Third Space Improv is offering a Summer Drama Camp for Kids as well as a Kids Improv Comedy Camp. Both are July 21-25, 2025 at Third Space Improv.

About Kids Drama Camp (Be sure to bring lunch)

When: Monday – Friday, July 21-25, 2025 | 10:00am-2:00pm

Ages: 8 to 11

Tuition: $300.00

The camp is an introduction to speaking, moving, and emoting onstage as well as the non-performing elements of theatre: costume, make up, and scenic design.

Campers will work as an ensemble to rehearse and perform a short play, based on The Stinky Cheese Man by Jon Scieszka, during the last day of camp.

Perfect for all experience levels.

About Kids Improv Comedy Camp (Bring a snack)

When: Monday – Friday, July 21-25, 2025 | 2:00pm-5:00pm

Ages: 8 to 11

Tuition: $225.00

Campers will explore the basic concepts of improvisation in a warm, safe, and supportive environment. Improv games and activities will grow self-confidence and enable the campers to expand their creativity individually, and, as an ensemble.

Campers will experience:

*Being – and responding – in the moment.
*Accepting and building on gifts from fellow students.
*Embracing – and using – failure.
*Co-creating with others (listening, giving & taking focus).
*Thriving in an unscripted environment.

Campers will have a working understanding of the basic fundamentals of improvisational theater as well as an increased appreciation, and comfort, with being on stage – and in life – without a script.

Camp Showcase on Friday, July 25, 2025 at 4:30pm for friends and family.

The last day to register for camps is July 20, 2025.
