Sister City 100th Anniversary Special Ceremony

Sister Cities … St. Augustine, FL and Avilés, Spain … Celebrate 100 Years of their relationship with a variety of events in September. One of those is on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at 10:00am.

There is a special ceremony on Avilés Street that includes an unveiling of a 100th Anniversary Interpretive Marker along with the re-dedication of a tile mosaic that was gifted to the City in 2002.

The public is invited to attend the ceremony!  It will be held prior to the start of the Avilés Street Festival.
