St. Augustine becomes a magical place with millions of tiny white lights adorning the city … this year celebrating the 30th anniversary of this award-winning event. There are many options for enjoying the beautiful scenery … carriage rides, trolley rides, tours by air or water, or just walking around downtown on your own.

Nov 23, 2024 – Jan 18, 2025 — A Celebration of Art & History: Ximenez-Fatio Nights of Lights Exhibition — Mon-Sat — 10:00am-5:00pm
Stop by the The Ximenez-Fatio House for the festive holiday fireplace mantel displays .. this years’ theme ‘100 Years of Music’. Artwork from 14 artists has been tailor designed for their specific mantel.

Be sure to stop by the Colonial Quarter to check out the first Nights of Lights Holiday Market! There will be Interactive Holiday Shopping Experience for One-of-a-Kind Gifts, Family Photo Ops and Fun.

Celebrate the magic of the holidays in Vilano Beach with some family-friendly fun! Live music, tree lighting and dressing of the palms, Santa & Mrs. Claus, Holiday movie, Christmas Caroling and more!

Dec 19, 2024 – Jan 5, 2025 — Venardos Circus at The Amp — Times Vary by Day
Celebrate a ‘Decade of Dreams’ under the big top with a magical, exhilarating experience for guests. Expect to be transported back in time to the center ring of a centuries-old tradition, but one that has been reinvented for the next generation.


December Events

Dec 6, 2024 — Artisan’s Holiday Night Market — 4:00pm-8:00pm
Stop by the Ximenez-Fatio House Museum during First Friday Art Walk and check out the Holiday Market in the Courtyard. Featuring local artisans with handcrafted gifts, a children’s corner, cider and s’mores bar and more.  Family-friendly, free admission.

Dec 6, 2024 — Castillo by Candlelight: Enemy at the Gates — 6:30pm-8:00pm
History comes to life in this after-hours event. Experience the old fort as you are led through the Castillo by lantern light. Reservations recommended! Special Event Ticket required!

Dec 6 & 7, 2024 — Colonial Night Watch Events — Times Vary by Day
Not only does the Historic Florida Militia participate in the Castillo by Candlelight, they have an encampment at the Colonial Quarter where they host performances of living historians in period clothing.  And they hold the Colonial Night Watch Torchlight Parade on Saturday evening.

Dec 7, 2024 — St. Augustine Christmas Parade — 9:00am
Bring your family and friends and arrive early to get a good spot for this popular, annual event. Floats, cars, horses, bands and marching units, and … of course, Santa!

Dec 7, 2024 — Gullah Geechee Heritage Festival — 12:00pm-5:00pm
Come out to Armstrong Park and immerse yourself in authentic Gullah Geechee cutlture and heritage!  Traditional Music, Dance, Foods and Crafts! Entertainment and activities for ALL ages.  Free and family-friendly!

Dec 7, 2024 — Surf Illumination — 4:00pm
The St. Augustine Beach Pier Park will be buzzing with activities … Holiday Music * Children’s Activities * Balloon Twister * Arts & Crafts Vendors.  And, of course, Santa Claus will be there!  Let’s not forget the lighting of the St. Augustine Beach Christmas tree!  Family-friendly fun for all!

Dec 7, 2024 — Home Alone Movie Night — 5:00pm
Free, family-friendly fun!  A showing of the holiday classic ‘Home Alone’, as well as face painting, fairy hair, activities, snow … and, of course, Santa Claus. Free popcorn and hot chocolate for the kids!  Joyful songs from the Flagler College Carolers who will be strolling around.  And, check out the beautiful display of trees and wreaths on The Front Porch deck.

Dec 8, 2024 — Christmas Cantata — 11:00am-12:30pm
Stop in at Ancient City Baptist Church for their Sanctuary Choir’s presentation of The Silence and the Sound Christmas Cantata … exploring the mystery and majesty of Christ’s birth. It features both beloved carols and original songs.

Dec 8, 2024 — St. Augustine Orchestra Holiday Concert — 2:00pm & 7:00pm
Enjoy listening to “Sounds of the Season” at the 3rd Annual Holiday Concert at Kelly Farm … this year with 2 showtimes.  Beverages available to purchase as well as food trucks on site.

Dec 10, 2024 — St. Augustine Amphitheatre Winter Night Market — 5:00pm – 9:00pm
Free and open to all ages – this seasonal market features favorite local vendors, along with a variety of food trucks, as well as full bars. And live music from Ragga Surf Music and Claire Vandiver!

Dec 12, 2024 — Jazz in the Garden — 6:00pm-8:00pm
Head to the Radzinski Family Garden at the Lightner Museum to listen to the sounds of The Ramona Duo. Take in the beauty of the twinkling lights from Nights of Lights while you’re there.

Dec 13, 2024 — Visit with Santa — 6:00pm-8:00pm
You’ll want to mark your calendars for this event in the Plaza De La Constitución. Christmas music, face painting … and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be visiting to hear Christmas wishes from everyone … from children to adults.
