Spooky, yet family-friendly, enjoy a guided candlelight tour through the 226-year-old historic Ximenez-Fatio House Museum; learn about the ways that St. Augustine townsfolk of the 1800s practiced mourning rituals and cultural practices.

Sep 7, 2024 — Founders Day Commemoration 2024 — 10:00am-5:00pm
This annual event commemorates the founding of the City of St. Augustine by Pedro Menendez de Aviles. Activities begin at the Mission Nombre de Dios then proceed to the Fountain of Youth Archaeological Park. This year also marks 100 Years of the relationship with St. Augustine’s sister city – Aviles, Spain.
Sep 7, 2024 — Tejedor in Concert — 8:00pm
If you missed their first performance, you have another chance to enjoy the Aviles-based, folk band Tejedor at Colonial Oak Music Park … Asturian folk music and dance. Free and family-friendly.
Sep 8, 2024 — Sister City 100th Anniversary Special Ceremony — 10:00am
The public is invited to a special ceremony on Avilés Street that includes an unveiling of a 100th Anniversary Interpretive Marker along with the re-dedication of a tile mosaic that was gifted to the City in 2002.

Everyone is welcome! Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of St. Augustine’s Sister City relationship with Aviles, Spain! Enjoy music and dance, food, art … including a Plein Air Paint Out, and more at this free, family-friendly event.

Free and family-friendly! Music lovers and collectors can shop thousands of music-related items. There is also Onsite Screen Printing, DJ sets, Food Trucks, St. Johns County Book Mobile and More!
Sep 19, 2024 — Path of the Panther Screening — 6:30pm-9:00pm
This free, public screening of the acclaimed documentary chronicles the fight to protect the Florida panther from encroaching development. Discussion and Q&A follows with a panel of local policy leaders and conservationists. Proudly presented by Sing Out Loud Festival and Live Wildly Foundation. RSVP required.
