Military Veteran Fishing

Military Veteran Fishing Class – John Boats

Veterans … be sure to sign up for the free Military Veteran Fishing class that is being offered.  The monthly program is designed in partnership with the VA to provide military veterans of all abilities an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.

Date|Time:   Wednesday, November 26, 2025  — 9:00am-12:00pm

Location:  Trout Creek Park Boat Ramp

Join us out on the water in John Boats … in search of some freshwater “monsters”.  Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.  Bring your own equipment if possible.  If necessary, gear can be provided.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for Saltwater Shoreline Fishing Information.
