It’s Impawsible Not to Have a Good Time during These St. Augustine Pet Tours
It’s natural to want to bring your canine along with you when you’re out and about in St. Augustine. After all, they are man’s best friend. Luckily, there are plenty of St. Augustine pet tours that will help you explore the City without leaving your companion behind. Try new foods, learn about the history of St. Augustine and even the history of pets in America when you take the tours below.
Bone Appetit!
St. Augustine Historic Walking Tours actually has three pet-geared tours. But perhaps the best one is Bone Appetit! During this tour, you and your canine will walk throughout Historic Downtown stopping at a few “Pet Stops” like a dog treat store or a dog attire store. Additionally, you and your pet will both get tasty treats and learn about colonial pets. Look forward to enjoying a glass of wine or beer on the house and a bowl of water for your canine pal.
FREE Pet Walk Pup Crawl
On the second Saturday of every month, City Walks hosts a free Pet Walk Pup Crawl. Bring your fur-friend along to explore the old cobblestone streets and hear about more than 400 years of the Old City’s history. Per city ordinance, space is limited to groups of 25, so be sure to reserve your spot early!
Pawstively St. Augustine
This St. Augustine pet tour lets your pets join for free at a great price of only $16.00 per person. Pawstively St. Augustine is a two-hour walking tour where you’ll learn about the City’s history and even a little about America’s pet history. Guests will also be treated to a special “Pup Stop” along the way. This hike is just the thing to do to get those wiggles out of your fur-friend. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes, canines and their partners walk roughly two-miles at a quick pup pace.
St. Augustine Pup Crawl
If you’re in the Old City with your pet and are interested in getting a taste of St. Augustine’s nightlife or beer, wine, and spirits, you’ll be thoroughly satisfied on this Pup Crawl by St. Augustine Historic Walking Tours. The historic pub crawl includes a few “Pet Stops” your pup will love and a complimentary glass of either premium, local, or craft beer, sangria, wine or soda at each stop!
More Pet-Friendly Things to Do
The special tours above aren’t the only places your pet can tag along to visit. After a tour designed specifically for your companion, spend the day with them visiting other pet-friendly places in St. Augustine. Explore ecology unique to our waterways; lounge on the rooftop at one of Henry Flagler’s old East Coast railway buildings; learn about the spookier side of the city on a haunted ghost tour! Here are just a few of the cool places you can create memories with your canine at:
- Cellar Upstairs
