The annual MLK Commemorative Celebration, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is January 17-19, 2026.  Local Theme: “Whatever affects one directly, affects all indirectly.” – Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

41st annual Commemorative Breakfast — at the Renaissance Historic Downtown Hotel.

Annual Birthday Celebration — at the new Mt. Moriah Christian Ministry, Pastor Anthony Britton

Monday, January 19 — Silent March and Program — 9:00am
Join us for a Silent March leaving 86 MLK Avenue and proceeding downtown to the Plaza de la Constitución – commemorating the route taken in 1986 by the Governor and the cabinet to recognize the national holiday in honor of Dr. King.  Plaza Guest Speaker — Apostle Earl Glisson, Anchor Faith Church
