A Celebration of Art & History: Ximenez-Fatio Nights of Lights Exhibition
Celebrate Art and History through festive holiday displays on the fireplace mantels at The Ximenez-Fatio House! On display, November 23, 2024 – January 18, 2025. The Ximenez-Fatio House partners with the St. Augustine Art Association and area musicians to bring this special event. With a theme of ‘100 Years of Music’, you will certainly see something creative.
The meeting that marked the founding of the St. Augustine Art Association was held at the Ximenez-Fatio House on January 18, 1924. And the House would serve not only as a meeting place, but also as artist studios for a number of years. To celebrate the anniversary, artwork from 14 artists, members of the St. Augustine Art Association, has been selected with each design tailored to their specific mantel. The stunning displays are inspired by a century of music (1924-2024) – an extraordinary blend of art, history, and music!
