311 is bringing their Unity Tour to the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on Saturday, August 17, 2024 with guests AWOLNATION and Neon Trees.

Formed in 1990, the band features Nick Hexum (vocals/guitar), Chad Sexton (drums), Tim Mahoney (guitar), SA Martinez (vocals/dj), and P-Nut (bass). They mix rock, rap, reggae & funk into their own unique, hybrid sound. And 32 years later, the band is still regarded as one of the most entertaining & dynamic live bands in the U.S.
About AWOLNATION
On the 2018 song “Cannonball”, AWOLNATION mastermind Aaron Bruno sang, “I wear my heart on my sleeve ‘cause it’s all that I know.” The same could be said for his multifaceted forays into music – he follows his heart not a plan. After he broke through with the improbable, worldwide hit “Sail” in 2011, Bruno could have made carbon copies to keep on rolling. But he didn’t. He continued to create a diverse umbrella of sounds to explore under that tag and released singles that both topped the modern rock radio chart and received recognition among fellow artists and his musical heroes.
About Neon Trees
Neon Trees consists of Tyler Glenn (lead vocals, piano, keys), Chris Allen (lead guitar), Elaine Bradley (drums), and Branden Campbell (bass). Glenn approaches everything with the frame of thought, “If you’re going to do something, do it with all you’ve got.” That includes making music to living authentically to creating welcoming spaces for those around him. It’s also a sensibility that’s evident on Neon Trees’ upcoming fifth studio album, slated for spring 2024.
“Our last album came out during the pandemic, and it was a terrible time to put out an album,” Tyler says. “So I focused on what I could control. Most of us were out in orbit, spiraling, but writing music was something I could do. I wrote by myself, I wrote with other artists, and this collection of songs came from that. It taught me a valuable lesson in sticking with your gut. We could have released one-off singles or hopped on a trend, but as a band we’ve always done what we wanted to do and made the type of music we wanted to make. There’s a vein
of honesty we’ve always evoked, but this album is as real and as honest as possible.”

You are encouraged to bring a variety of essential school supplies to the Amphitheatre’s designated Tools 4 Schools bin, conveniently located outside the Box Office on show day.
