Dr. Hohlios, Ph.D. is Assistant Professor of Art History at Flagler College. Her fieldwork primarily takes place in the former coal mining region of Chikuhō on the island of Kyushu in Japan, where she explores questions about art’s relationship to collective memory and feelings of belonging.

The Visual Art Faculty Exhibition is on view in the Crisp-Ellert Art Museum September 5 through November 8, 2025.
