Auditions are at Limelight Theatre for 9 To 5 – the Musical on Saturday, May 11, 2024 at 12:00pm. Registration begins at 11:30am. If needed, callbacks will be on Monday, May 13 at 6:00pm. They will be by invitation and will consist of readings from the script and song selections from the show.

Based on the seminal 1980 hit movie. Set in the late 1970s, this hilarious story of friendship and revenge in the Rolodex era is outrageous, thought-provoking and even a little romantic.
Pushed to the boiling point, three female coworkers concoct a plan to get even with the sexist, egotistical, lying, hypocritical bigot they call their boss. In a hilarious turn of events, Violet, Judy and Doralee live out their wildest fantasy – giving their boss the boot! While Hart remains “otherwise engaged” the women give their workplace a dream makeover, taking control of the company that had always kept them down. Hey, a girl can scheme, can’t she?
Audition Details:
*Bring a headshot and resume
*Bring all known conflicts from May 20 through August 11, 2024
*Prepare 32 bars of a style of music that is in 9 to 5: The Musical (selections from the show are allowed). *Doralee may sing with accent.
*Bring clearly marked sheet music. An accompanist will be provided.
*No acapella, no audio tracks.
*Come prepared for a dance call. (you will have time to change if needed)
