2026 Matanzas 5000

Join the Ancient City Road Runners on Saturday, January 24, 2026 for the 46th annual Matanzas 5000!  Florida’s fastest 5K on a USATF-certified 3.1-mile course through scenic, historic St. Augustine.

Proceeds benefit youth running programs in St. Johns County high schools and middle schools as well as the Florida School for the Deaf and Blind.

The start line is located at 29 West Castillo Drive next to Francis Field.  The race runs along the beautiful bayfront in downtown St. Augustine, winds through historic neighborhoods, past Flagler College, finishing on Castillo Drive near Francis Field.

Race Start:  8:00am
