A Classic Theatre is holding Auditions at The Waterworks on Wednesday, September 11, 2024 at 6:30pm for ‘Admissions’ … a staged reading.
By Joshua Harmon, Admissions is a scorching satire that holds a mirror up to privilege and power through the lens of the education system. It is both deliberately provocative and caustically funny as it takes a subversive side-swipe at hypocritical good intentions.
Sherri Rosen-Mason is head of admissions at an exclusive Prep school in New England; her husband Bill is the principal. They are passionately committed to increasing the percentage of diverse students admitted to the school and they’re starting to see results. But, when their only son sets his sights on an Ivy League university, personal ambition collides with progressive values, with powerful results.
Auditions will consist of reading selections from the script.

Performance date is November 1, 2024 at 7:30pm at the Center for Spiritual Living.
