About the Performers
Sam Pacetti: his mastery of fingerstyle guitar makes us wonder how such a rich spectrum of sound can be accomplished on a single guitar. His virtuoso guitar picking and strumming cover a wide range of genres, from Bach to Flamenco to Richard Thompson and original compositions that stir the soul. Sam’s songs invoke both existential thought and nostalgia – with the power to elicit cathartic tears and open hearts.
Michael Jordan: thrives on one-of-a-kind, self-taught musical techniques. He melds precise percussion with open and irregular tunings to create a vibrant and aesthetically captivating performance that shocks, inspires, and mesmerizes. His original material encompasses nitty gritty southern rock, delta blues, Americana folk, and even modern hymns. There is no genre stone unturned by Michael Jordan, as he continually defies the norm.
Jonathan Lee Dotson: has won eight international competition prizes on four continents, earning acclaim for both virtuosity and artistry. He performs in multiple genres ranging from the 1500s through jazz standards, rumba, flamenco and modern rock and he has a particular passion for Spanish guitar. A kaleidoscope of sounds, styles, and emotions leave audiences breathless and appreciative as he dazzles them with relentless technical strength and interpretive skill.
