St. Johns County is hosting their Annual free Christmas “Treecycling” Program for residents wishing to recycle their Christmas trees after the holiday.  Help reduce the amount of waste that ends up in landfills during the holidays.

Trees will be recycled and used as mulch in St. Johns County Parks.

Artificial trees are not accepted. Please make sure your trees are free of decorations and debris.

Dates|Time:  Thursday, December 26, 2024 through Monday, January 6, 2025 | 9:00am to 5:30pm

Bring your tree to one of the following locations.  Designated areas and signage will direct participants where to drop off their trees.

  •  Ron Parker Park – 607 Old Beach Road, St. Augustine Beach (by the Community Garden and Dog Park)
  •  Mills Field – 1805 Racetrack Road, St. Johns (in the back of the East parking lot)
  •  Davis Park – 210 Davis Park Road, Ponte Vedra Beach (in the 1st parking lot)
  •  Tillman Ridge Transfer Station – 3005 Allen Nease Rd – (Closes at 1:00pm on Saturday | Closed on Sunday)
  • Stratton Rd. Transfer Station – 250 North Stratton Rd – (Closes at 1:00pm on Saturday | Closed on Sunday)
