Auditions are at Limelight Theatre for ‘Bright Star’ on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at 3:00pm.  Callbacks will be June 23, 2024 with cold readings. There will also be dance auditions if you are asked to stay

About the Play
Bright Star is a musical set in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina and travels between 1945 and 1923. The story follows Alice Murphy, a literary editor with a hidden past, and Billy Cane, a young soldier just home from World War II. Together they discover a powerful secret that alters their lives.

Audition Details
Please have the following prepared:
* 1-1:30 minite monologue
* 32-bar cut of a song in the style of ‘Bright Star’

Please Note:
* An accompanist will be provided
* Acapella auditions and karaoke tracks are not accepted
* Video submissions are accepted – but not recommended. If you can be there, we would love to see you in person.
