BRAVE Summit Returns to The Amp
The 3rd annual BRAVE (Be Resilient and Voice Emotions) Summit is at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre on March 29, 2023 from 3:00pm – 7:00pm. Teens across Northeast Florida will enjoy – Live Music, Giveaways, Free Food, Games, Community Service Hours.
Featuring some of today’s most captivating speakers, artists, and content creators. Panels, group discussions and talks all focused on taking charge of your mental health. Hear from some of TikTok’s most popular mental health advocates. Jam to some live music from local artists like King Peach, Kelp, and DJ Gexella.
The Summit aims to open a dialogue with teens to address the stigma associated with mental health and encourage teens to learn about how to foster mental wellness. It provides a safe place for teens to talk to other area high school students about mental health and how to breakdown stigma and normalize conversations about mental health.
Care Connect+, a social health organization led by Flagler Health+, is partnering with area organizations, including The St. Augustine Amphitheatre to host the event.
The mission is to provide pathways to support systems for those young people who are struggling or know someone who is struggling, so that they feel equipped to ask for and provide the support that is needed.
BRAVE Summit for Parents, Caregivers and Guardians
New this year in conjunction with the Summit for teens — BRAVE Summit for Parents, Caregivers and Guardians from 4:30pm – 7:00pm. Caregivers will walk away with new tools and tips on how to talk to their teens. And they’ll learn about what it’s like for them today to deal with the ever-changing landscape of managing mental health.
