Mark your calendars for the 2nd annual Hastings Cabbage, Potato & Bacon Festival on April 26 & 27, 2025! Experience a weekend immersed in agricultural celebration right in the heart of downtown Hastings! It’s a celebration of creativity and good, old-fashioned, family-friendly fun!
Outdoor Cottage Artisans Market — be sure to check out this showcase of local art, fresh produce, handmade soaps, and homecrafted goods in the heart of our charming Main Street. Saturday — 10:00am-5:00pm | Sunday — 10:00am-4:00pm
There will be Live Music as well to enjoy along with mouthwatering options from Food Trucks. Not to mention all the special events noted below!
Saturday
7:00am | 8:30am | 9:30am — annual Spud Run 5K, 10K, 15K Challenge & Cabbage Crawl Fun Run.
11:00am — new for this year … and kicking off the festival is a Live Cooking Demo by renowned chefs John Rivers and Hari Pulapaka.
11:30am-2:00pm — enjoy the Brunch Tasting ($35.00 Ticketed Event). Ten talented chefs line Main Street with mouthwatering delights featuring (what else?) cabbage, potatoes, and bacon.
1:00pm-4:30pm — Great Hastings Mow Down — this thrilling event takes place on N. Main Street. Come cheer your favorite mower on … or you can participate. Or, you can join in the Mow Down Parade!
5:00pm-9:00pm — check out the Family-Style Dinner ($75.00 Ticketed Event). This four-course dinner features live entertinment and celebrates the flavors and farmers of Hastings.

12:00pm-4:30pm — The Miss Potato Queen Beauty Pageant — a celebration of charm, elegance, and youthful exuberance.
