Coquina Rock Beach Walks at Washington Oaks

Join park volunteer Jim Gleason on this beach walk exploring the second largest outcropping of coquina rock on the Atlantic Coast. On this “up close” encounter, discover the inhabitants of the rock as well as the geological makeup. Explore the rock itself; gain a better understanding of the ecosystem as a whole.

Meet at the beachside parking lot. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable hiking shoes
