Be sure to stop by The Waterworks the last Sunday of the month for Floetry:  Florida Poetry Showcase with Open Mic.  Each month features a different Florida poet.

October’s Featured Florida Poet is Ann Browning Masters, Menorcan Poet Laureate. She’s the author of Floridanos, Menorcans, Cattle-Whip Crackers: Poetry of St. Augustine.  After her share, there will be a brief book signing opportunity.

2:30pm — Open Mic Sign Up
3:00pm — Featured Florida Poet
3:30pm — Community Open Mic

If you would like to share a poem during Open Mic, please arrive at 2:30pm and get your name on the list with the facilitator. There is space for 10 poets at 5 minutes each.

At 3:30pm, the readers will be called to the podium in the order their names appear on the sign-up sheet.

Share your polished poems or bust out fresh ink from your notebook.
