Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series 2025

Mark your calendars!  Be sure to get your tickets!  It’s time once again for the Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Series 2025 … February 6-16!   Honoring History and Community through Music!

Feel the rhythm, hear the stories, and immerse yourself in some unforgettable music!  Featuring a lineup of internationally renowned artists including Snarky Puppy, Tower of Power, Dinner Party, Macy Gray, The Dirty Dozen Brass Band and more.

A portion of the proceeds from a charity fee built into each ticket will support the Fort Mose Historical Society in their mission to promote and preserve the site’s rich history.

Thursday, February 6, 2025  —  Snarky Puppy — This collective has emerged as a significant presence in the music world, winning five Grammy® Awards.  At times, with a diverse lineup of as many as 20 members showcasing a bold, evolving sound.

Friday, February 7, 2025  —  To Be Announced

Saturday, February 8, 2025   —  Tower of Power — For over 55 years, they’ve delivered the best in funk and soul music. Hits include … “You’re Still A Young Man”, “So Very Hard to Go” and more.

Friday, February 14, 2025  —  Dinner Party featuring Terrace Martin, Robert Glasper, and Kamasi Washington — blending jazz, hip-hop, and soul into a sophisticated, genre-defying sound. Celebrated for their collaborative chemistry and introspective lyricism.

Saturday, February 15, 2025  — Macy Gray — a Grammy® Award-winning singer, songwriter, and actress known for her distinctive raspy voice and genre-defying blend of R&B, soul, and jazz. Rising to fame with her 1999 hit single “I Try”.

Sunday, February 16, 2025 — The Dirty Dozen Brass Band with special guest Sierra Green and The Giants — the Grammy® Award-winning New Orleans-based Dirty Dozen Brass Band has taken the traditional foundation of brass band music and incorporated it into a blend of genres, including bebop jazz, funk, and R&B/soul.
Sierra Green embodies a fusion of timeless soul with an irresistible contemporary allure.  She meticulously curated her band, The Giants.  Sierra handpicked the city’s finest musicians to refine her distinctive sound and command the stage with an undeniable presence.

Tickets can also be purchased at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office.  As of December 2024, temporarily located to a camper near the RB Hunt Gate.  Temporary hours: Thursdays and Fridays, 10:00am-5:00pm and Saturdays 8:30am-12:30pm.
