A free, Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered … Cast Your 2026 Fishing Goals! Bring your fishing ambitions for the new year and join Parks & Rec … they’ll help set you up for success! Share your fishing plans, then grab a rod and get your line in the water. Kick off the season with some hands-on fishing fun!

When: Wednesday, January 28, 2026 | 9:00am-11:00am

Location:  Usina Boat Ramp Pavilion

Please bring your own equipment if possible. Gear is available if needed.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for license information.

Designed in partnership with the VA to provide an opportunity for military veterans to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.
