Join us for a Gopher Tortoise Hike at Anastasia State Park on Thursday, July 25, 2024 … 10:00am-11:00am. Weather permitting; subject to cancellation.

Learn more about the amazing Gopher Tortoise on this guided hike along the edges of the park’s Maritime Hammock and Beach Dunes. Find out about the different environments that they call home.

Please dress for the weather and wear comfortable walking shoes! Bring your binoculars and/or a camera, reusable water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, and a field guide is you have one.

Regular Park Admission Applies:

$8.00 per vehicle — limit 2-8 people per vehicle
$4.00 per single-occupant vehicle
$2.00 per pedestrians, bicyclists, extra passengers, passengers in vehicle with holder of Annual Individual Entrance Pass.
