Join the City of St. Augustine’s Community Redevelopment Agency on Wednesday, February 26, 2025!  They’ll be hosting a fun and interactive Grand Re-Opening Event at the newly reconstructed Eddie Vickers Basketball and Pickleball Courts.   And, there will also be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the newly renovated Willie Gallimore Commuity Center.

Everyone is encouraged to attend the ceremony.

4:00pm — activities begin at the Sports Court … that includes an inaugural pickleball serve by Mayor Nancy Sikes-Kline … and Commissioner Jim Springfield will shoot the first jump-shot.

Residents will then have the opportunity to participate in mini-game sessions of basketball and pickleball with City staff.  Residents can register to play in mini-game sessions of pickleball and basketball.  Spots to play are limited.

Spectators are welcome to watch in the newly installed shaded bleachers!

Lots of fun, prize giveaways, and light refreshments.

6:00pm — visit the Willie Galimore Community Center for a ribbon-cutting ceremony that will include remarks by Commissioner Cynthia Garris, a self-guided tour of the newly remodeled interior and exterior pool area, and light refreshments.
