Join us at GTM for the 6-week Wildflower Course. Instructor Richard Thomas will teach you how to identify and appreciate the diverse wildflowers of the GTM Research Reserve.

Class Days:  Wednesdays, March 12 through April 16, 2025 — 10:00am-12:00pm

Where: GTM Research Reserve Visitor Center

What You Will Learn:

* Explore the habitats of the GTMNERR and learn how they support specific wildflowers.
* Understand plant characteristics (leaves, flowers, etc.) for identification.
* Use field guides, identification keys, and online tools to identify wildflowers.
* Recognize and address invasive plant species.
* Learn ethical practices for observing and documenting wildflowers.
* Discover local spots to see and photograph wildflowers.
* Gain insight into native landscaping and sustainable wildflower gardening.
* Practice your knowledge in guided field sessions at GTMNERR.

Cost: $175.00 — Members of Friends of the GTM Reserve | $225.00 — Non-Members
