There is a Heroes & Patriots Celebration on Memorial Day Weekend – Saturday and Sunday, May 25 & 26, 2024 – at the historic Pena-Peck House. The two-day event is hosted by The Woman’s Exchange of St. Augustine.  There will be a talk about veterans buried in the St. Augustine National Cemetery as well as an Artisan Market in the historic gardens.

The Pena-Peck House was built circa 1750 by order of King Ferdinand’s VI for the Royal Spanish Treasurer, Juan Estevan de Pena. Occupied by the Peck family descendants until 1931, it is among the oldest colonial buildings in St. Augustine – the first floor is the original coquina structure.

The historic property will be open this weekend for complimentary tours at 12:00pm, 1:00pm, 2:00pm, and 3:00pm.  The Artisan Gift Shop hours are 12:00pm-4:30pm.
