Be sure to check out the Historic Weapons Demonstrations at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument … every week on Saturday and Sunday!  Join park staff and volunteers (usually dressed in period garb). Hear history come alive with the boom of cannon or musket fire!

Demonstrations are usually on the Castillo’s gundeck and last approximately 15 minutes. Occasionally, they take place on the grounds outside of the fort.

Demonstration Times: 10:30am, 11:30am, 1:30pm, 2:30pm and 3:30pm

All demonstrations are subject to weather and staffing conditions.

Please note: regular admission fees apply to watch demonstrations from inside the Castillo.
