Everyone is welcome to the Menorcan Heritage Celebration on Saturday, March 2, 2024 — 11:00am-2:00pm at Llambias House.   No admission charge.  So come out and enjoy yourself!

Hosted by the Menorcan Cultural Society, this annual event celebrates the arrival of the Menorcans in St. Augustine.

The Celebration includes:  Mullet Net Making * Storytelling & Songs * Menorcan T-Shirts, Books, Flags and More * Menorcan Family Photos * Family Crests * Datil Pepper Sauces & Jellies * Datil Pepper Plants * Music by Sam Pacetti

At 12:00 Noon — Dr. Ann Browning Masters (St. Augustine’s Menorcan Poet Laureate) will read “The St. Augustine Menorcan Litmus Test”

Other activities include: Presentation of the Menorcan Heritage Award and Cake Cutting.

Menorcan Clam Chowder is on the menu as well as sausage and shrimp pilau and baked goods.
