A free Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered on Wednesday, March 27, 2024.  The program is designed to provide military veterans of all abilities an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.

Time/Location: 9:00am-11:00am | Usina Boat Ramp

During “Fish Cleaning” you’ll learn all kinds of jargon that will help make you an informed fisherman/woman.  Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.  Bring you own equipment if possible.  If necessary, gear can be provided.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for Saltwater Shoreline Fishing Information.

Designed in partnership with the VA to provide an opportunity for military veterans to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.
