Military Veteran Fishing

A free, Military Veteran Fishing class is being offered on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.  The program is designed to provide military veterans of all abilities an opportunity to gain skills and knowledge about fishing.

Time:  9:00am-11:00am

Location:  Vaill Point Park

During “Cast Netting” you’ll learn all kinds of jargon that will help make you an informed fisherman/woman.  Class consists of hands-on activities as well as an opportunity to go fishing.  Bring your own equipment if possible.  If necessary, gear can be provided.

Participants must possess a valid shoreline saltwater fishing license or fall under the exempt criteria determined by FWC.  Click for Saltwater Shoreline Fishing Information.
