MLK Commemorative Celebration

The 39th Commemorative Celebration, honoring Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., is Monday, January 15, 2024.

Local Theme: “America: Be True to What You Said on Paper”, MLK, Jr.

Commemorative Breakfast — 7:30am-9:30am

The day begins with a Commemorative Breakfast honoring the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr’s National Holiday.   In the Virginia Room at Flagler College.   Keynote Speaker:  Dr. Patrick Coggins, Phd, JD Professor, Stetson University

Silent March — 10:30am

Join us for a Silent March leaving 86 MLK Boulevard at 10:30am and proceeding downtown to the Plaza de la Constitución – commemorating the route taken in 1986 by the Governor and the cabinet to recognize the national holiday in honor of Dr. King.

Plaza Program — 11:00am-1:00pm
