Othello, a Shakespeare tradegy of love, will be performed at the Limelight Theatre on Saturday, October 28, 2023 – 7:30pm.

In this production by UNF students, they’ll perform an original multilingual adaptation of a script based on the concept of faculty director Will Pewitt.  Characters will speak certain lines in what would have been their historical languages (Italian, Arabic, Greek, Spanish, and English). The classic play becomes even more firmly tied to its’ broader Renaissance context while also taking on cross-cultural dimensions relevant for our own century.
