Poets and poetry fans … head to The Waterworks for Poetry Open Mic.  January’s gathering is entitled “A Poetic Celebration of the New Year”.  Poets of all skill levels are given an opportunity to share their poems that relate to reflection on the old year and resolutions for the new year that is here. The theme is meant as a writing prompt and it is your choice if you want to follow the theme or not.

Invite a friend or two or three to cheer you on. Celebrate gratitude with the local poetry community!

When:  Sunday, January 25, 2026 from 3:00pm-5:00pm | Sign-up @ 2:30pm

You’ll be called to the podium in the order your names appear on the list; usually the first 15 names. Each presentation is limited to 5 minutes max.

Time-line:
2:30pm — Open Mic Sign Up
3:00pm — Open Mic – first 15 names on sign-up sheet
4:30pm — Networking / Meet & Greet
