Poets and poetry fans … head to The Waterworks for the Poetry Open Mic.  Celebrate creative writing and reciting!  Poets of all skill levels are given an opportunity to share their poems.  Invite a friend or two or three to cheer you on.

When:  Sunday, June 29, 2025 from 3:00pm-4:30pm

Readers are invited to present poems that relate to the season of Summer and other such things. The theme is meant as a writing prompt. It’s your choice if you want to follow it or not. Present two or three of your polished poems or share fresh ink from your notebook.

You’ll be called to the podium in the order your names appear on the list. Each presentation is limited to 5 minutes max.

Time-line:
2:30pm — Open Mic Sign Up
3:00pm — Open Mic – first 15 names on sign-up sheet
4:30pm — Networking / Meet & Greet
