The St. Augustine Humane Society is inviting the community to support pets in need through its annual Share the Love Auction. This fundraising event benefits the organization’s Dental Health Program during National Pet Dental Health Month in February.

The online auction opened Tuesday, January 20, 2026, at 8:30am EST and runs through Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at 5:00pm EST.

All proceeds will support pets in need of extensive and often lifesaving dental surgery.   The fundraising goal is $3,000.00

Dental disease is a common but frequently overlooked health issue, affecting nearly 80% of dogs and 70% of cats by age three. If left untreated, it can cause chronic pain and allow infection to spread to vital organs, including the heart and kidneys.

The Humane Society reports a growing number of animals requiring critical dental procedures, making community support especially important.  Auction items donated by local businesses and supporters include a variety of goods and experiences. Items can be previewed at Share The Love 2026

The St. Augustine Humane Society promotes healthy, responsible pet ownership through medical and rehabilitative programs that strengthen the human-animal bond and reduce shelter intake.
