St. Augustine, the nation’s oldest city, also holds the distinction of being one of the nation’s most charming. Whether you’re a longtime resident or visiting the area for the first time, we’ve gathered all the resources you need to find where to stay, what to do and other community information about our unique little village.

The City of St. Augustine invites everyone – residents, business owners, and community stakeholders – to participate in Selfie Day! It’s a national selfie competition in cooperation with the Florida League of Cities and Engaging Local Government Leaders Network.

When: Tuesday, August 12, 2025

It’s a great opportunity to engage with the City and have some fun by taking a selfie in front of a municipal building or with staff. Then post it with the hashtags #CityStAugSelfie, #CityStAug, and #CityHallSelfie, and tagging @FlCities, @ELGLNetwork, and @CityStAug.
