Bring the kids and join us at Lightner Museum for Storytime at the Lightner … Sunday, September 14, 2025 at 10:00am.  We’ll be reading How the Crayons Saved the Rainbow by Monica Sweeney, illustrated by Feronia Parker-Thomas.

Following the reading, there will be a hands-on craft of exploring the colors of the rainbow and creating a crayon friend will take place.

For children ages 3 – 6 years old.  Guardians must remain with their children for the duration.

Free, but preregistration is required. Space is limited to 10 kids. Please click the event website link to register.

Participants should arrive and check in at the front desk of the Lightner Museum five minutes before the program begins. The museum educator will meet you there.
