Join us at The Waterworks for Sundays with SAMF (St. Augustine Music Festival) for “The most beautiful music for cello with Alexei Romanenko”.

Jacksonville Symphony’s principal cellist Alexei Romanenko performs celebrated works for the cello from baroque, classical, and romantic periods with pianist Chi-Yin Chen. Be prepared to be captivated by some of the most beautiful music ever written for cello!

Program Includes:
J.S. Bach. Prelude from Suite BWV1011 for solo cello
Saint Saens. Swan from Carnival of the Animals
Dvorak. Concerto in b minor, 1. Allegro
Chopin. Cello Sonata, 3. Largo
Massenet. Meditation from opera “Thais”
