Sister Cities … St. Augustine, FL and Aviles, Spain … Celebrate 100 Years of their relationship with a variety of events in September. Performances by Aviles-based, folk band Tejedor are part of the celebration. You’re sure to have an unforgettable experience enjoying Asturian folk music and dance.
Their first performance is Thursday, September 5, 2024 — 7:00pm-9:00pm (Doors open 6:30pm) at Lewis Auditorium. Family-friendly and Free to Attend! However, be sure to reserve your spot by clicking the event website link.
If you miss the first performance, their second one is at Colonial Oak Music Park on Saturday, September 7 at 8:00pm. Also Family-friendly and Free to Attend!.
Their final performance is Sunday, September 8 at 2:00pm at the Plaza de la Constitución. Be sure to bring your blanket and/or lawn chairs. Venture over from the Aviles Street Festival …. music and dance, food, art, and more.
