The Minorcan Experience Events – A Celebration of Minorcan Heritage Month 2026

You’re invited to join us for one or all of these free events that are a Celebration of Minorcan Heritage Month!  They’re at various venues in downtown St. Augustine.

Event Information

March 7 at 2:00pm — David Nolan – Bestselling Author of The Houses of St. Augustine – presents “Minorcan Buildings and Builders” … in the Alcazar Room, 75 King Street

March 14 – 11:00am-2:00pm — The Menorcan Cultural Society presents The Menorcan Heritage Celebration … enjoy food, music, and displays at Llambias House, 31 St. Francis Street

March 21 – 2:00pm-4:00pm — Special Tour of Fr. Miguel O’Reilly House Museum – including daily life of the Sisters who lived there, 32 Aviles Street

March 28 at 2:00pm — Oldest Wooden Schoolhouse Tour … emphasis on Juan Genopoly, who started a school to teach reading and writing to children of the Minorcan Quarter, at 20-30 St. George Street
