Join us at the Tolomato Cemetery for one of our free Guided Tours … given on the 3rd Saturday of the month between 11:00am-2:00pm.
Learn about the cemetery; feel yourself surrounded by the past of historic St. Augustine. In use as a cemetery from the 18th century until 1884, the space is the last resting place of some 1,000 St. Augustinians. That includes many people important to the history of Florida and the United States.
Guided tours begin at 11:00am and are offered throughout the day with the last tour at 1:30pm. Just let the people at the gate know that you’d like a guided tour. A self-guided tour is also an option.
October 18 is DAR Patriot Remembrance Day. During this annual event, members of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and the Sons of the American Revolution (SAR) gather to honor American Revolutionary War patriots buried at the historic St. Augustine cemetery.
