Head to the St. Augustine Beach Hotel on Wednesday, June 5, 2024 at 5:30pm for the Waves of Change Exhibit Opening! Join the St. Johns Cultural Council in celebrating the new permanent exhibition.

The outdoor exhibit highlights the history of St. Augustine Beach … from the construction of the St. Augustine Beach Hotel as a Works Project Administration project in the 1930s to the wade-ins that provided impetus for the passage of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, surf culture, and more.

After the ceremony, stick around and enjoy a concert featuring Billy Buchanan and his Rock ‘n Soul Review at 7:00pm.
