What We See In The Shadows Exhibit

Be sure to stop in the St. Augustine Art Association to view this new exhibit. It is entirely in the dark … with the exception of flashlights and wayfinders!

We’re used to seeing artwork well-lit and beautifully displayed on the wall. So, what happens when you’re forced to look at it bit by bit? The overall image and perspective changes. Or … maybe you see something you wouldn’t have noticed with full lighting.

For the artists, it’s a challenge to create a cohesive image that will be viewed in fragments.

Exhibit open during First Friday Art Walk from 5:00pm-8:00pm — August 1, 2025.

Gallery Hours: Tuesdays through Sundays, 12:00pm-4:00pm
