Lace up your shoes for marine science and join us as we commemorate 50 years of science and discovery at UF Whitney Lab with a 5K Race! Run, walk, or jog with us at the beautiful River to Sea Preserve trails (or anywhere with our virtual option) on Sunday, April 14, 2024 to celebrate this historic anniversary and support marine conservation. Kids Fun Run is free and will be after the 5K; approximately .4 mile on the Scrub Loop
This year’s featured animal – the redfish (Sciaenops ocellatus)!
Race is limited to only 200 in person participants!
Shirt and medal provided to all participants (in person and virtual). Proceeds support the UF Whitney Lab for Marine Bioscience
Post race refreshments.
Awards: Top Overall Male & Female | Top 3 in each age group: 9 and under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75 and above.
